In order to provide world-class programming and services, Barkerville relies on admissions during our Main Season and special events. Admission goes towards a variety of expenses to ensure we can open the doors and maintain the site for visitors.
Regular admission includes entrance to the site, as well as all public programming, demonstrations, and exhibits.
Theatre Royal tickets, Barnard’s Express Stagecoach tickets, and gold pan lessons are sold separately and in-person.

During the Main Season museums and exhibits close between 7:00pm – 8:00pm. For individual business store hours, please visit Barkerville’s Merchants.
Admission can be purchased at the Welcome Centre when you arrive. There is no limit on how many people can come to Barkerville!

Annual Pass
An annual pass provides admission to Barkerville Historic Town & Park from May 1 of the year purchased to April 30 of the following year.
General (Age 17-64): $52.52 + GST
Seniors (Age 65+): $39.38 + GST
Youth (Age 6-16): $34.38 + GST
Children age 5 & under free
Receive 5% off when you purchase 4 or more annual passes!
Annual passes provide 15% discount for an additional guest with each visit.
Note: Annual passes to Barkerville are no longer directly associated with Friends of Barkerville and the Cariboo Goldfields Society memberships. Memberships to the society are still available as a separate purchase.
2025/2026 Winter Season
September 8, 2025 – May 30, 2026
Live programming, including shops and eateries, are in hibernation for the winter. Please enjoy a self-guided tour by donation!
